Our Story
Motor City Paddle Club Kayak Rentals was founded by Jason Berenstein, whose life took a transformative turn in 2023. After a decade-long career as a police officer and a significant medical event, Jason discovered the healing and invigorating power of kayaking. This new found passion quickly became the driving force behind creating a community where others could experience the joy and tranquility of paddling.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of kayak rentals to suit every adventurer’s needs:
Single Kayaks: Perfect for solo explorers looking to navigate the waters at their own pace.
Tandem Kayaks: Ideal for pairs or families wanting to share the experience together.
Our rental rates are designed to be flexible and affordable: Single Kayak: $15 per hour or $60 for the day (4 hours or more)
Tandem Kayak: $20 per hour or $80 for the day (4 hours or more)
Paddle Boards: $20 per hour or $80 for the day (4 hours or more)
Discounts: 10% off for Chesterfield Township residents, military personnel, and first responders.
Operating Hours
Motor City Paddle Club Kayak Rentals is open every Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the last rental going out at 7:00 pm.
